Now before you get too excited, we don’t just spend our time shopping all day! Here at Mystery Shoppers HQ, we work behind the scenes to arrange for members of the public who have signed up with us as mystery shoppers, to go to our client's locations (banks, shops etc.) at the right time, and once they’ve spent some time interacting with staff, they fill in their feedback questionnaire. We then read through it to make sure it’s of a good quality, before we submit it to the client and provide them with ways in which they can improve.
We work in all industries, and have carried out all sorts of types of mystery shopping, from the classic burger orders to lengthy mortgage applications. Anywhere a customer experience exists, whether in person, on the phone or online, you will find us providing feedback!
We are a medium sized, family run business and have been going for 30 years this year! Our HQ is in Holsworthy, Devon and we also work very closely with our partner office in Bulgaria.
We are currently working between home and the office to keep us all safe, and will be led by you as to what your preferences for working during this time are. Our plan is to go back to the office eventually – our flexitime policy will allow everyone to continue to work flexibly/remotely as their role allows it thereafter.

We’re currently looking for someone to join our Pricing Team. The Pricing Team is one of 8 teams at MSL, and their clients require our mystery shoppers to visit different car dealerships about purchasing a brand-new car and obtain a quote. The pricing team are responsible for making sure the mystery shopper has received the correct quote for the required car specification.

What is a Mystery Shopper?
A Mystery Shopper is a person who poses as a real customer whilst assessing customer service levels provided by a company or organisation.
How much does each assignment pay?
As a mystery shopper you are self-employed and the pay rate varies depending on the complexity of the assignment.
The average pay rate is usually about £12-£15, however you can earn anything from £2 for a quick email enquiry assignment, through to £100 for a more complex assignment such as a full customer journey. The pay rate will always be made clear to you before you are assigned anything.
Overall, Mystery Shopping is a great way to earn a little extra pocket money.

As a mystery shopper you will have access to our secure online portal where you will find details of assessments that we have available in your area. Once you have signed up as a mystery shopper you can use your smartphone, tablet or PC to apply for and complete assignments. We’ll also send you emails when we find an assignment we think you’ll like.
