Here at Mystery Shoppers Ltd (MSL), we are on a mission to improve customer experiences all over the world. We help our clients to understand what they can do to create lots of happy customers by testing their services.

Now before you get too excited, we don’t just spend our time shopping all day! Here at Mystery Shoppers HQ, we work behind the scenes to arrange for members of the public who have signed up with us as mystery shoppers, to go to our client’s locations (banks, shops etc.) at the right time, and once they’ve spent some time interacting with staff, they fill in their feedback questionnaire. We then read through it to make sure it’s of good quality before we submit it to the client and provide them with ways in which they can improve.

We work in all industries and have carried out all sorts of types of mystery shopping, from classic burger orders to lengthy mortgage applications. Anywhere a customer experience exists, whether in person, on the phone or online, you will find us providing feedback!

We are a medium-sized, family-run business and have been going for over 30 years! Our HQ is in Holsworthy, Devon and we also work very closely with our partner office in Bulgaria.

We’re currently looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Director to join our team. We’d like to bring someone into the business who can focus on driving our positive and productive workplace culture further whilst leading our human resources initiatives.

The role involves:

> Strategic HR Leadership – Developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company’s goals and values.

> Employee Relations – Promoting a positive environment for colleagues before, during and after they work with us. Addressing employee issues in a fair and effective manner. In the unlikely event of escalation to ACAS or Tribunal, managing and resolving disputes effectively and professionally.

> Compliance and Policies – Ensuring our HR policies are up-to-date with all the relevant regulations whilst engaging and developing the skills of the team to ensure we are all compliant.

> HR Process Improvement – Continuously seeking ways to improve HR processes and practices to enhance overall efficiency. Managing and utilising employee engagement surveys and employee feedback surveys.

> Learning and Development – Fine tuning our L&D strategy and directing the outputs.

> Recruitment – Lead on recruitment strategy.

Need to knows:

> Office hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday (later/earlier starts/finishes are always considered).

> 28 days’ holiday including 8 bank holidays plus 5 days extra paid leave (pro rata for part time staff).

> Free parking on site available.

> Contractual sick pay included.

> 6-month probationary period.

> Subject to satisfactory DBS and ID/credit check

> Salary £39,000 per annum

> Full time and part time hours available
